Edge Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a geriatrics program in Modesto, CA. The OTA will administer and document interventions under the Occupational Therapist, support the rehab team, and coordinate scheduling and billing.

Requirements include an OTA Associate degree, California OTA license (or eligibility), and at least two years of experience with frail elderly populations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Valid California OTA License or proof of license eligibility.
• At least two years of OTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge to treat frail, elderly participants with complex conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document OTA treatment programs as established by the occupational therapist.
• Assist the occupational therapist with vitals, ROM, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with rehabilitation team to implement activities based on treatment plans; manage scheduling and billing.
• Track and maintain equipment and supplies; deliver and document interventions per care plans.
