Qualifications

• Valid Ohio license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Responsibilities

• Verifies client information by interviewing client; reviewing medical history and recording treatment details.
• Helps clients improve quality of life by assisting with motor skills, independence, and ADLs.
• Follows treatment plan by teaching techniques and monitoring progress.
• Maintains patient records and progress notes.
• Generates revenues by recording billing information for services rendered.
• Maintains safe work environment and adheres to standards and regulations.
• Keeps supplies stocked and equipment functioning; performs routine maintenance.
• Adheres to professional standards and participates in ongoing education.
• Expands occupational therapy practice by pursuing new opportunities.
