Job summary

Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will work with Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary team to help patients improve function, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Ohio COTA license in good standing.
• Geriatric/post-acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional performance.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions that support independence with daily activities.
• Assist patients with self-care, dressing, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support upper extremity strengthening, fine motor coordination, balance, and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to supervising therapists.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, patients, and families.
• Educate caregivers and facility staff on therapeutic techniques and safety recommendations.
• Contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care efforts.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant electronic documentation.
• Promote a positive and engaging rehabilitation experience for patients.
