PACE Southeast Michgan is seeking a Clinic Assistant to support patient check-in, appointment coordination, and basic clinical tasks. The role works under supervision with a focus on safety and high-quality participant care in the clinic environment.

Responsibilities include clerical duties, vital signs, mobility assistance, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure timely, smooth clinics. Prior geriatric exposure is helpful; strong customer service is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks.
• Maintain yearly competencies and required trainings.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and PACE values.
• Experience with geriatric populations is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Greet participants and check-in for clinic appointments.
• Coordinate escorts to designated areas at scheduled times.
• Assist with participant handling using devices (cane, walker, wheelchair).
• Clerical tasks: answer calls, take messages, copy/fax/file docs.
• Schedule appointments in the electronic medical record.
• Provide appointment reminder calls to participants.
• Observe and report to provider or nurse as needed.
• Obtain and document vital signs (height/weight).
• Assist with dressing and toileting as needed.
• Clean and stock treatment areas; manage linen.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
