Job summary

Arden Courts West Delray is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities including personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, and social engagement. You will be part of the Health & Wellness Team delivering resident-centered care.

Requirements include a High School diploma, ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and clearance through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Prior dementia care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification required according to state regulations.
• Knowledge and experience in working with elderly; dementia experience preferred.
• Clearinghouse Screening: Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including personal care, meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Support resident socialization, orientation and information needs as a Health & Wellness Team member.
• Provide care with compassion to maintain residents' dignity and comfort.
