Corewell Health’s ACE unit 1D (Acute Care of the Elderly) at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids is a 21-bed Med/Surg unit focused on patients 65+. This role supports nursing staff with basic patient care, vitals, and safety, working nights in a demanding geriatric setting.

You will take vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and document care per unit guidelines. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS/ALS certification within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and report observations to the RN.
• Perform basic patient care tasks per department guidelines.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient safety.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner.
