Corewell Health's ACE unit 1D at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids is a 21-bed Med/Surg unit focused on patients aged 65 and older. Nurses collaborate to provide specialized geriatric care across diverse diagnoses, emphasizing teamwork and clear communication within the care team.

The role supports the RN, performing basic patient-care tasks, vitals, hygiene, ambulation, wound care, and documentation on a 36-hour weekly night shift (7:00pm–7:30am). The unit promotes safety and compassionate care.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of RN or Provider.
• takes vitals, checks blood sugars, assists with bed bathing, ambulation, wound care, and catheterization.
• Provides safety attendance for patients and communicates observations to the health care team.
• Ensures documentation is performed accurately and timely.
