Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead resident care in a long-term care setting in Colorado. The role emphasizes maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations while directly supporting residents’ needs.

The ideal candidate holds Colorado RN licensure, with geriatrics experience and supervisory exposure. Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills (Microsoft Office) are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing.
• Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
• 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1-year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• English language reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with nursing staff, physician, pharmacist, and family about resident status.
• Listen to concerns and initiate corrective action; report concerns.
• Attend Resident Care conferences; maintain accurate Resident Care Plans.
• Prepare, administer and document medications per physician orders; replace expired meds.
• Document patient care issues and report them as required.
• Recognize signs and symptoms; use judgment for appropriate treatment.
• Supervise ancillary personnel; initiate corrective action as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
