Job summary

Aliceville Manor Nursing Home in Aliceville, AL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate on medication management.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and condition changes; initiate appropriate nursing interventions as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with policy and standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
