Job summary

Responsibilities

• Utilizes glucose monitoring and other basic medical procedures as part of patient care
• Document care given and observations in appropriate forms
• Administer basic nursing tasks such as care planning and observations
• Assist with treatment planning meetings and promote patient independence
• Operate equipment for patient self-care and monitor safety and infection control
• Act as a preceptor and mentor to other nursing assistants
