The role requires a High School diploma and at least two years in food service, preferably in high volume settings; candidates should be able to work under pressure, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

Two years’ experience in Food Service industry as a cook.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm approach.
Uphold sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsabilités

Ensures food temperatures are monitored and logged per schedule and records results.
Maintains sanitary working conditions and follows health department standards.
Prepares meals by following approved menus, recipes, and food production sheets.
Assists in controlling costs through proper storage, labeling, and waste tracking.
Suggests menu innovations and improved presentation to boost resident satisfaction.
Supports other departments by preparing special meals for meetings or events.
Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to Salemtowne culture.
