Job summary

Runk and Pratt is seeking an Entry level Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team in Forest, VA. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care plan under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a Virginia CNA license without restrictions, and the ability to pass a background check and tuberculosis screening. CPR/First Aid certification should be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED
• CNA license (Virginia) without restrictions
• State Police background check
• Tuberculosis screening current
• CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire
• Ability to meet physical requirements
• Ability to pass a drug test

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tasks including vitals and weights as directed
• Follow individualized care plans and assist with ADLs
• Maintain residents' skin integrity and monitor condition
• Assist with meals and document nutritional intake
• Report changes to supervisors promptly
• Maintain privacy and dignity of residents
• Support a safe, clean and homelike environment
