Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a Behavioral Program Specialist or CNA to support geriatric patients in Kalispell, MT and nearby areas. The role involves coordinating care with facility staff and clinicians, and documenting behavioral symptoms for program submissions.

The position requires visiting Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facilities, working with CNAs, BHTs, and Medical Assistants, and reporting to a remote Clinical Supervisor. Travel is part of the job and compensated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred (CNAs, BHTs, Medical Assistants).
• Travel will be required and is compensated.
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.
• Experience with EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IDT meetings with nursing facility staff and clinicians.
• Audit charts to ensure timely behavioral documentation.
• Summarize patient behavioral records for special needs program submissions.
• Update tracking reports with approved and pending participants.
• Perform administrative duties related to processing patients on the program.
