Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking a Behavioral Program Specialist to work with clinical staff at long‑term care facilities, ensuring best practices in documenting behavioral symptoms and coordinating care. The role includes summarizing patient records for submission to special needs programs and training under a remote Clinical Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or related field preferred.
• Two years of behavioral health experience or educational equivalent can substitute for up to one year.
• CPI certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IDT meetings with facility staff and clinicians.
• Audit charts to ensure timely behavioral documentation.
• Summarize patient behavioral records for submission to special needs programs.
• Update tracking reports with approved and pending participants.
• Handle administrative duties for patients on the special needs program.
