We are seeking a board-certified physician in Geriatric Medicine and/or Palliative Care to join our department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, teach osteopathic medical students and residents, and contribute to research and scholarly activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical: 60%• Provide primary and consultative care to geriatric and palliative patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. • Participate in on-call rotations Teaching: 20%• Teach osteopathic medical students and residents in classroom and clinical settings. • Develop and implement curriculum related to geriatric and palliative medicine. • Mentor students and residents in research and scholarly projects. Research and Scholarship: 10%• Conduct research in geriatric and palliative medicine. • Publish peer-reviewed articles and present at national conferences. 3. Secure funding through grants and other mechanisms. Service duties will include: 10%• Participate in departmental and institutional committees. • Contribute to community outreach and education initiatives. • Collaborate with healthcare organizations to advance geriatric and palliative care.
