Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Systems Completion Engineering Intern to work on a real project for 12 weeks, scoped with your manager on day one. You will collaborate with the Powerblock team to develop in-house or EPC specifications and culminate in a capstone project that you own end-to-end.

You’ll present your results to executive leadership and fellow interns, gaining exposure to geothermal development at Cape Station and our Houston headquarters.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior bachelor’s candidate wrapping up within the next year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with an expansion joint supplier.
• Help develop in-house or EPC specifications.
• Deliver a capstone project: a cost database and methodology for the relevant equipment category.
