Job summary

Fervo Energy invites motivated undergraduates to join our Production Engineering Internship. You will work on real projects tied to our geothermal energy initiatives, managing tasks from day one and presenting results to leaders after 12 weeks.

Expect hands-on field data work, cross-team collaboration, and meaningful accountability. You'll support production data analysis, optimization studies, and technical reporting while interacting with vendors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges.
• Coursework or prior exposure to production/reservoir engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support production data analysis and well performance monitoring
• Assist with artificial lift and injection optimization studies
• Help compile and QC field production data
• Collaborate with engineers on production forecasting and well test analysis
• Support preparation of technical reports and presentations
