Job summary

Bedrock Energy is seeking a Mud Operator to own the fluid system during drilling operations. You will mix mud to spec, monitor fluid properties, and support drilling performance across project sites in the US.

The role requires 2–5 years of mud-related experience, familiarity with solids control, and the ability to operate field equipment. Travel, lodging, and a per diem for meals are provided.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant mud operations experience.
• Experience with mud handling, solids control, and field diagnostics.
• Ability to mix fluids to spec without direct supervision.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Knowledge of rheology basics such as marsh funnel viscosity.

Responsibilities

• Mix drilling mud to spec and maintain fluid properties during operations.
• Monitor viscosity, density, pH, tank levels, returns, and other fluid indicators.
• Operate and maintain solids control equipment.
• Report fluid changes to the driller and monitor field conditions.
• Manage inventory and coordinate support tasks as needed.
