Job summary

Bedrock Energy is seeking a Ground Operator to run pump operations and support field execution across the drilling spread. This hands-on role includes startup/shutdown, rig support, and material staging, with travel across project sites in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and servicing pumps.
• Understands startup and shutdown procedures.
• Able to support the Mud Operator and anticipate next step needs.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with physical field work.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps and support fluid system execution.
• Assist the Mud Operator with valve control, inventory, material staging, and additive handling.
• Support rig up, demob, bore swaps, pressure testing, and equipment preparation.
• Perform rig walk arounds and report abnormalities in pumps, valves, hoses, and related equipment.
• Help prepare for the next operation, including tooling, loop prep, and general field readiness.
• Support maintenance activities, filter changes, lubrication, and equipment checks.
• Build familiarity with the full rig spread, including tank systems, pumps, and support equipment.
• Follow direction from the Driller and Mud Operator while maintaining strong field awareness.
• Assist in other normal geothermal drilling operations tasks as required.
