Job summary

RNInk is seeking a Geotechnical Superintendent to lead self-perform geotechnical crews on heavy civil and infrastructure projects around the Atlanta area. The role emphasizes drilled shafts, auger cast piles, and soil nails, with relocation possible for the right candidate.

You will manage crews, plan methods, and ensure safety and quality across projects, coordinating with project management, procurement, and field teams to maintain schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of geotechnical construction experience.
• Strong leadership and crew management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and safety focus.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects.
• Lead drilled shaft, auger cast pile and earth retention crews.
• Maintain safety with the safety department and project management.
• Plan means and methods with the project team.
• Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps, including maintenance.
• Update project schedules and track field productivity.
• Control labor costs and keep on budget.
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and self perform work.
• Run quality control and field documentation.
• Provide updates to project management and participate in start/close meetings.
