MDS Staffing presents an opening for a Geotechnical Superintendent to lead self-perform geotechnical crews on heavy civil and infrastructure projects in the Atlanta area. The role focuses on drilled shafts, auger cast piles, and earth retention, with oversight of safety, schedules, and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in geotechnical construction, experience with drill rigs and grout plants, and the ability to coordinate crews across projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of geotechnical construction experience across drilled shafts, CFA piles, tiebacks and soil nails.
• Ability to manage crews, cost and schedule in the field.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects.
• Lead drilled shaft and earth retention crews.
• Maintain safety as a top priority with the safety department and PMs.
• Plan means and methods for geotechnical activities with project team.
• Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps and their maintenance.
• Update project schedules and track field productivity.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and self-perform work.
• Provide field documentation and report job status in meetings.
