Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Geotechnical Superintendent to lead self-perform geotechnical crews on drilled shafts, auger cast piles and earth retention projects in the Tampa Bay area. You will run daily field operations, manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps, and ensure safety, quality and schedule.

Candidates should have 10+ years in geotechnical construction and be willing to travel or relocate to Tampa Bay.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of geotechnical construction experience across drilled shafts, CFA piles, micropiles, wick drains and soil/rock nails
• Ability to manage crews, cost and schedule in the field
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel; relocation to Tampa Bay area as needed

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects
• Lead drilled shaft, auger cast pile and earth retention crews
• Maintain safety as a top priority in coordination with safety and project management
• Plan means and methods for geotechnical activity with the project team
• Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps and ensure maintenance
• Update project schedules and track field productivity
• Manage labor costs and keep the work on budget
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and self-perform work
• Perform quality control and field documentation
• Keep project management updated on job status and participate in start/close meetings
