Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in the Tampa Bay area seeks a Geotechnical Superintendent to lead drilled shaft and deep foundation crews on heavy civil projects. You will manage self-perform geotechnical work, plan methods, coordinate equipment, and ensure safety and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in geotechnical construction, strong leadership, and willingness to travel or relocate to Tampa Bay.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of geotechnical construction experience across drilled shafts, CFA piles and earth retention.
• Thorough understanding of drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps.
• Able to learn and apply geotechnical construction methods, specs and procedures.
• Proven ability to manage crews, cost and schedule in the field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects.
• Lead drilled shaft, auger cast pile and earth retention crews.
• Maintain safety as a top priority with safety department and PM.
• Plan means and methods for geotechnical activities with project team.
• Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps, including maintenance.
• Update project schedules and track field productivity.
• Manage labor costs and keep the work on budget.
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and self-perform work.
• Run QC and field documentation; update PM on job status.
