Whitestone Associates, Inc. offers a summer Geotechnical internship in New Jersey. The program runs May/June through August with flexible hours based on project needs.

Intern will participate in geotechnical site research, field testing and inspection, soil lab work, and boring/test pit investigations. Applicants should be pursuing a Civil or Geotechnical Engineering degree; additional credit if a soils laboratory course was completed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical site research.
• Field construction phase testing and inspection.
• Soil laboratory testing and coordination.
• Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory.
• Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations.
