Job summary

GeoEngineers is seeking motivated civil engineering students for geotechnical Summer 2027 internship opportunities in Boston, MA. You will receive mentorship from professional engineers and gain hands-on experience in field and lab work.

Interns will monitor field explorations, document conditions, assist with lab testing, and support engineers with project deliverables while maintaining safety and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in Civil/Geotechnical/Environmental Eng degree.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and complete tasks promptly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitors field explorations and construction projects under guidance of engineers.
• Documents field conditions and completes field reports.
• Assists with routine laboratory testing and analyses.
• Assists engineers with office and project deliverables.
• Organizes and maintains lab and field equipment.
• Keeps field readiness and adheres to safety practices.
