Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks Staff Engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments and report writing under licensed engineers. You will work on projects from building pads to heavy industrial programs.

You'll plan drilling, reduce data, draft reports, coordinate field crews, and pursue PE licensure with mentorship and exam support. This role blends field and office work with hands-on learning across geotechnical and materials

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or exam scheduled.
• Field-willing: able to work on real projects in varying conditions.
• Clear technical writing.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations and coring programs.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
