Job summary

Materials Testing Consultants, Inc. (MTC) seeks a Project Manager specializing in Geotechnical Engineering to lead geotechnical services from our West Allis office and progress toward Lead Geotechnical Engineer.

You will manage diverse projects across Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois, mentor junior engineers, develop proposals, and collaborate with the Geotechnical Department Manager to advance company goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in geotechnical engineering.
• 5+ years of direct geotechnical project management.
• P.E. licensure in WI/IN/IL/MI or ability to obtain.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations, soil sampling and analysis.
• Knowledge of materials testing for concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project life cycle from business development to design, reporting and construction support.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with the Geotechnical Department Manager.
• Manage client relationships and develop proposals for geotechnical services.
• Ensure quality and timeliness within budget across municipal, DOT, energy, commercial, industrial and residential projects.
