Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager for our Glastonbury and Trumbull offices in Connecticut. The role involves leading project execution, client interaction, and mentoring staff, with potential advancement to principal.

Occasional travel and collaboration with a principal are expected. You will manage technical and financial aspects, contribute to proposals, and support business development while ensuring quality in geotechnical reports and analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (MS preferred).
• 6+ years of relevant experience since college graduation.
• P.E. licensure required.
• Willingness to travel/out of town assignments may be expected.

Responsibilities

• Internal and client communications.
• Managing project team and day-to-day activities.
• Monitoring performance against contracts and budgets.
• Providing business development support.
• Preparing proposals and geotechnical reports under guidance.
• Staff training and reviews.
