From earthquake and seismic engineering to the latest trenchless technology methods, Kleinfelder's Geotechnical Services support the planning, engineering, and construction of complex projects, and our specialists are leading experts in their fields.
Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder's NorCal Area is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team in NorCal. This person will need to be flexible to sit in both our Concord office and also our San Jose office. Additionally, we are looking for an experienced go-getter that can manage projects, mentor more junior staff and do technical work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience with a BS in Geotechnical Engineering (MS preferred). This individual will provide high-end technical leadership on complex projects. Strong analytical experience is required in the areas including, soil/rock classification, slope stability analysis, earth retention-systems, deep foundation design, soil improvement techniques, and pavement design. Knowledge of infrastructure, drilling operations, and heavy civil project design and construction are preferred. Experience in leading technical projects, directing multi-functional teams and developing and mentoring junior staff.

Benefits: Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $93,787 - 161,990.
