Job summary

Certerra is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Bridge City, TX to lead geotechnical projects, conduct subsurface investigations, and provide design and construction support. The role requires coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff.

You will manage project planning, budgets, schedules, and client expectations while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. A BS in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and a TX PE license are required, with Louisiana

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience.
• TX Professional Engineer license; obtain Louisiana license within 90 days of hire.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations and analyze data to prepare reports and designs.
• Design and evaluate foundations, retaining structures, slopes, pavements, and ground improvement solutions.
• Provide technical oversight, QA/QC, and coordinate with civil, structural, environmental, and construction teams.
