Job summary

Engineering Consulting Service is seeking a geotechnical professional in New Jersey to prepare geotechnical reports and manage CMT projects. You will analyze data, meet deadlines, and deliver technical solutions to clients.

The role requires a BS/MS in Civil/Geological Engineering, 2 years of related experience, and PE or PG preferred with state licenses. A valid driver's license is required for site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred; license required in each state you work.
• If driving for ECS, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations to meet deadlines.
• Manage CMT projects with daily report review and field staff training.
• Prepare proposals, manage budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices.
• Meet with clients to discuss delivered reports and provide technical solutions.
• Mentor and support staff project personnel.
