Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a geotechnical engineer to prepare reports, analyze data, and provide technical solutions for ongoing projects. The role involves managing CMT tasks, proposals, budgets, and client interactions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S./M.S. in civil or geological engineering with 2 years of related experience; professional licensure (PE or PG) is preferred and driving for ECS subsidiaries may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar required.
• 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primarily involved with preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations to meet project deadlines.
• Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects with daily report review and field staff training.
• Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices.
• Attend project meetings with clients to review reports and provide technical solutions.
