Job summary

TTL is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer in San Antonio, TX. The candidate will involve field activities, including sampling, boring logs, and resistivity testing, and will design projects with field and lab staff.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 2–5 years of geotechnical consulting experience, and a Texas Engineer-in-Training certificate. Full-time position with opportunities to advance and contribute to multiple site types.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• MS in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Texas Engineer-in-Training certificate required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Perform field activities: sampling, boring logs, and resistivity testing.
• Design and direct project plans with field/lab staff.
• Oversee field activities and assign lab testing.
• Create logs, perform calculations, and develop recommendations.
• Prepare engineering reports and foundation design calculations.
• Communicate project status and results to clients.
