Responsibilities

• Perform field activities such as sample collection, field boring log preparation, staking boring locations, and field electrical resistivity testing.
• Design, communicate, and direct plans for projects with field and laboratory staff.
• Oversee assigned project field activities.
• Assign laboratory testing.
• Create boring logs, perform calculations, and develop engineering recommendations.
• Prepare engineering reports.
• Foundation design calculations, analysis, and plan preparation.
• Communicate with clients regarding project status, results of field and lab testing, and engineering recommendations.

A Staff Geotechnical Engineer with TTL is given the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project types and teams providing an opportunity to explore varying interests and develop passions. We have teams of engineers working collaboratively on multi-discipline projects across the Southeast. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, organized, creative, and responsible individual interested in working as part of a team, while developing personal technical and professional skills required for being a successful practicing engineer.
