Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer (PE) to lead geotechnical projects from concept through completion across Paducah, KY; Brentwood, TN; or Belleville, IL. The role requires a PE license and 5+ years of geotechnical experience.

You’ll mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and drive technical delivery across all project phases. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
• 5+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical projects from planning through completion, including scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary technical and project point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Perform and oversee geotechnical analyses, designs, and interpretation of field and laboratory data.
• Plan and manage subsurface exploration programs and coordinate field operations and resources.
• Prepare, review, and seal professional geotechnical engineering reports.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development and client relationship efforts.
