Job summary

Stratus® in New York seeks a Project Engineer with geotechnical engineering and environmental assessment expertise to join our growing team. This technically-focused role offers pathways to project leadership and requires frequent travel between the Hudson Valley (Poughkeepsie) and NYC.

You will perform subsurface investigations, analyze soils, develop geotechnical models, prepare reports, and interface with clients.

Qualifications

• Active NY PE license required or clearly in process

Responsibilities

• Install groundwater monitoring wells and perform DCP testing.
• Classify soils/rock per NY Building Code and USCS.
• Prepare geotechnical models from field data and lab results.
• Analyze shoring and footing systems using geotechnical software.
• Prepare design calculations and reports for clients.
