Job summary

Keller North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Asheville, NC location. The role focuses on project planning, cost control, QA/QC, and collaboration with field teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include bid support, procurement coordination, budget tracking, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements while mentoring junior engineers. Travel to sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with a minimum of 2 years industry experience or 4 years of industry-related experience.
• Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and understands project and contract requirements.
• Performs pre/post bid job site inspections.
• Prepares and compiles information and documentation for project and contractual requirements.
• Alerts the Superintendent and Project Manager of potential project impact related to resource management and crew composition.
• Responsible for material and quantity take-offs, scoping documents, terms and conditions, and delivery to support procurement.
• Responsible for production analysis and the project Quality Assurance/Quality Control program including tests and data analysis.
• Assists in preparing blue book documentation (JHA, PSP, etc.) and pre-planning meetings.
• Ensures work complies with contract requirements and project plans.
• Assists in mentoring field engineers.
