Madrid CFTL seeks a Geotechnical Project Manager to lead and deliver geotechnical projects from initiation to completion. You will direct field activities, coordinate drilling, CPTs, samples, and obtain timely invoicing, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring QA/QC compliance.

The role requires PE licensure, 4–8 years in geotechnical engineering, and strong communication to coordinate internal teams and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering focus required; PE license required; Master’s preferred.
• 4–8 years of geotechnical engineering experience with increasing project responsibility.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations, field exploration methods, and report preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage assigned geotechnical projects including scope, schedule, staffing, and coordination.
• Serve as day-to-day project lead and primary point of contact for internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate field activities including drilling, CPTs, test pits, sampling, and construction-related support.
• Track project progress and budgets; prepare and submit accurate monthly invoices.
• Identify scope changes and support preparation of supplemental service requests.
• Prepare and/or review geotechnical analyses and reports (foundations, earthwork, pavement support, slope stability).
• Review subsurface exploration data, boring logs, laboratory results, and calculations for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure work complies with standards (ASTM, AASHTO, FDOT, USACE).
• Provide practical, constructible recommendations.
