Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Geohazard Engineer to support pipeline integrity activities across the U.S. and Canada.

You will help plan and manage geotechnical and hydrotechnical threat programs, review mitigation plans, and collaborate with contractors to deliver engineering solutions for pipeline assets. The role involves field assessments, regulatory compliance, and development of standards to enhance safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering, or a related Engineering/Geosciences discipline.
• 1-5 years of experience in geohazard assessment or pipeline integrity.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192, 49 CFR Part 195, and related industry standards.
• Knowledge of slope stability and groundwater management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage the Geohazard Threat Management Program.
• Perform field work across North America to evaluate threats.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
• Develop internal standards and specifications for regulations and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external consultants to implement remediation programs.
• Conduct engineering assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses.
