Job summary

ESP is seeking a Geotechnical & Materials Testing Staff Professional/Engineer for our Raleigh, NC operations. You will participate in all project phases, from proposal through field testing, analysis and reporting, while overseeing field staff and maintaining client relations.

Position emphasizes geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspection oversight, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to project success for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline.
• EIT certification or eligibility.
• 0-5 years of experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Involved in all phases of a project including proposal preparation, field engineering and testing, analysis, and report writing.
• Provide technical analysis and reporting.
• Review deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Mentor field staff and manage client contacts.
• Review project plans and construction for compliance with documents.
• Develop scope, proposals and cost estimates; track progress and budgets.
