The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer in the Engineering Division to coordinate engineering evaluations, risk assessments, and technical documentation for permit applications, LNOs, and Section 408 permissions. You will serve as the geotechnical authority on civil works projects and lead complex regional initiatives.

You will perform independent reviews of geotechnical analyses, participate in emergency flood responses, and direct critical decisions for waiver requests,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Experience leading geotechnical reviews for major civil works.
• Proven ability to coordinate reviews for LNO/Section 408 and waivers.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate engineering evaluation, risk assessment, and documentation for permit applications and LNO/Section 408 permissions.
• Act as geotechnical authority for modification reviews on civil works projects.
• Lead complex regional engineering projects and manage technical reviews.
• Direct emergency waiver assessments during flood events and supervise team workflow.
