Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; ABET-accredited program preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or able to obtain.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations and project supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates geotechnical investigations for earthwork and foundation features.
• Monitor and evaluate integrity and safety of geotechnical aspects of water retention structures.
• Perform site inspections for geotechnical engineering aspects of field investigations and construction.
• Review geotechnical investigations, feasibility studies, design documents, and plans prepared by AE firms.
• Provide technical advice on geotechnical problems to other district elements.
