You will perform concrete cylinder and core compressive strength tests, and prepare soil and aggregate samples for standard proctor and related procedures. You will gain hands-on experience with ACI and TxDOT testing protocols, work closely with senior technicians, and develop skills toward professional certifications while

Formación

• Familiar with concrete, soil, aggregate, and asphalt testing methods.
• Ability to operate lab equipment safely and accurately.
• Strong data recording and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn ACI/TxDOT certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct compressive strength tests on concrete cylinders and cores per ACI standards.
• Prepare soil and aggregate samples for proctor tests.
• Perform Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and bulk specific gravity tests.
• Run bulk specific gravity and absorption tests on asphalt cores.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment safely.
• Document results and maintain lab logs.
• Assist senior technicians with field data verification.
• Ensure procedures comply with ACI, ASTM, TxDOT guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, compliant laboratory environment.
• Pursue relevant ACI or TxDOT certifications.
