Job summary

Terracon is hiring to coordinate a construction and geotechnical materials laboratory, overseeing testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt. You will manage staff training, equipment calibration, and ensure safety and quality in all laboratory activities.

The role requires supervising lab personnel, coordinating with project requirements, and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment while adhering to Terracon's quality management system.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant laboratory testing experience.
• Experience with quality protocols is required.
• Certification by national, regional, or state authorities (ACI, NICET, DOT) or in-house certification is required.
• Ability to coordinate staff and ensure safety in office and lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate or manage activities of a construction or geotechnical materials laboratory.
• Oversee or coordinate staff training and utilization.
• Ensure testing services are performed safely, timely, and per quality standards.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized space.
