Job summary

CTL Engineering in Shelbyville, KY is seeking a Professional Geologist to join our Geotech Team for geotechnical explorations and investigations. You will deliver customized reports and solutions and collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and project teams to address complex subsurface conditions.

The role emphasizes staying ahead of industry trends, solving challenges, and working in an office-based setting with occasional travel. A minimum of 3+ years of experience and a P.G.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting geotech experience, preferably KYTC/transportation projects.
• P.G. certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret geotechnical data, including rock cores and rock cut design.
• Coordinate explorations, prepare reports, and support analyses.
• Perform field surveys and stay current with geophysical developments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project timelines.
