CTL Engineering, Inc. seeks a Sr. Geotechnical Engineer to lead the Geotech Department from our Brunswick, OH office. You will guide geotechnical explorations, manage projects, mentor staff, and collaborate with agencies and clients to deliver customized studies and reports.

The role emphasizes leadership, QA/QC, and regional project delivery with limited travel within a 60–90 mile radius of the office.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in consulting engineering on civil projects.
• P.E. credentialing is required.
• Experience with lab supervision and QA/QC is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform geotechnical explorations, site characterizations, slope stability assessments.
• Train and supervise lab technicians; maintain equipment calibration.
• Mentor engineers and oversee project teams.
• As Department Manager, oversee northern OH operations, P&L, and scheduling.
• Prepare geotechnical reports and coordinate subsurface investigations.
• Interact with clients on technical aspects and ensure QA/QC.
