Job summary

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) in Alliance, OH is seeking a Geotechnical Field Professional to support the COT group with field observations, daily reports, and test documentation.

You will assist in geotechnical report preparation, perform routine calculations, and support geologists, engineers, and scientists on diverse private and public sector projects. A reliable vehicle and enjoyment of outdoor work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
• Enjoy working outdoors.
• Possess one or more of the following current certifications: NICET, ACI, APNGA, NETTCP, ICC, FPO.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Prepare daily field reports and test summaries documenting the work.
• Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports.
• Perform routine calculations (settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, slope stability) under senior staff guidance.
• Provide observation and testing services for geotechnical and environmental projects for diverse clients.
