Job summary

Geo-Technology Associates is seeking Geotechnical Field Technicians for our York, Pennsylvania office. The role involves observing construction activities, performing inspections and materials testing for diverse building projects, and supporting geologists, engineers, and scientists.

Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, traveling to project sites, and may work overtime. GTA will reimburse mileage and tolls and pay overtime at time and a half, with PPE provided for safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED required.
• Experience in geotechnical or construction-related field preferred.
• NICET/ACI certifications are a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction activities and perform inspections and materials testing.
• Provide field support to geologists, engineers, and scientists.
• Work outdoors and travel to project sites; overtime may be required.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance while on site.
