Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of experience required.
• Ability to carry 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 lbs to waist height.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining pressure meter testing equipment.
• Laying out borings and test pits with surveying and GPS.
• Observing, classifying test pits and performing hang auger borings.
• Being involved in site seismic testing and PDA testing.
• Classifying samples obtained from drilling operations.
• Testing, sampling, and inspecting soil.
• Performing routine field and laboratory tests.

Education

High school diploma or GED

BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
