Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BS in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Position requires carrying 40–70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining pressure meter testing equipment.
• Laying out borings and test pits with conventional surveying and GPS.
• Observing and classifying test pits and performing hang auger borings.
• Being involved in site seismic testing and PDA testing.
• Classifying samples obtained from drilling operations.
• Testing, sampling, and inspecting soil.
• Performing routine field and laboratory tests.
